Nice shot. Over time I've scoured Cana Island for the best angles of the lighthouse and have concluded that the one you've chosen here may be the best. I have a similar photo (taken vertically) from this very spot.

It is one of the most photographed spots.
Next time I think I will back up a bit to get more of the gate.
The gate is where the rescue crews went out to help sailors in trouble.
