Bullet discovered totally embedded in oak fireplace log. There is no entrance wound, so it has been in there for awhile. The base measures out at 10mm which be from a 9mm or .40 calibre weapon.

How long you reckon awhile is?
Long enough to grow several annual rings around it. Did not count them, though.
